DESCRIPTION:Monthly Branch Meeting\nSmugglers Coast, a talk by Dr. David Hume. Dr Hume looks at smuggling along the Antrim and Scottish coasts, why and how it occurred, who was involved and some of the stories associated with the 18th and early 19th centuries activities of the smugglers. An interesting social, economic and culture aspect to our history, smuggling is well documented in England and Scotland but not so much in Ulster.\nIn-person and via Zoom.
