Martin Carlin’s talk will take a scientific look at the facts, including new startling facts that have only emerged in recent times. Martin gives his own synopsis of the talk as follows:\nPresident John F Kennedy, the most powerful man in early 60’s America is killed, the nation is in shock and mourns a terrible, untimely loss, but is this a clear-cut case of cold assassination or could there be another explanation.\nWhat did witnesses see on that fateful day in Dealey Plaza, Dallas.  How many bullets were fired in the murder of JFK and what were the inconsistencies surrounding this.\nPossibly the most investigated homicide case of all time and yet not solved, even after all these years, however new evidence is beginning to come to light that would strongly suggest it could have been the result of a tragic accident.  Why then are the Secret Service so determined to only release their version of this account.\nWhat would ballistic and autopsy reports show in the death of JFK and were they consistent.  What version of events was released to the public at the time and what was held back.  Could the truth finally emerge after over 60 years of mis-information in one of the greatest cover-ups of all time.\nMartin Carlin is a professional research criminologist and lecturer with over twenty years’ experience. He lectures on both historic and contemporary crime.
