Occupations
The North of Ireland Family History Society (NIFHS) has a range of books covering a great variety of occupations. So if members of your family were involved in farming, linen, policing, railways, shipbuilding, foundry work, milling, baking, …, you may find out more here. And if their leisure involved cricket, football, golf or the Boys’ Brigade, there are books about those too. These are the aspects of their daily lives that can make your family history more interesting, especially if those occupations are now rare or have undergone considerable change. These books are for consultation in the Library and not for borrowing.
The books are shelved at IR 860 in the Randal Gill Library.
