Exploring the 1926 Census, a talk by Professor Marie Coleman, Queen’s University.

To mark the centenary of the holding of the first Census of Population for Ireland (April 2026), Professor Marie Coleman will look at the historical context of the 1926 census and the factors which have influenced change in Northern Ireland over the past century.
