Something for everyone!
The North of Ireland Family History Society is busy throughout the year with a diverse range of activities for all to enjoy.
Each Branch holds a monthly meeting usually between September and May featuring a guest speaker. Non-members of the Branch are welcome to join these and should contact the relevant Branch Secretary to register.
They may also organise other events such as meetings, visits or workshops for their Branch Members.
The Society holds education courses throughout the year. A wide range of topics are explored in detail to help you with your research. Some of these are free, others are a nominal cost. They are open to both Members and non-members of the Society and usually held online so anyone can register to take part.
The annual DNA Summer School has become an extremely popular event for both beginners and experienced DNA researchers. Held over 5 days in August or September, we hold two classes a day. Many attendees opt for a whole week of immersion in all things DNA.
Wherever possible, classes are recorded and available for a limited time to anyone who has registered, so people from all over world can (and do!) watch in their own time.
The calendar below shows all events coming up across the whole Society and its Branches.
