Donations: We are very grateful for all donations

The Society relies solely on Membership fees and donations to fund every aspect of its operation, from monthly speaker fees to rental of its Research Centre premises.

Your donation helps us to run and develop the Society so that we can provide the very best service to our Members.

You may donate directly to the Society, to a branch or to the DNA Projects run by the Society.

Select which type of donation you wish to make and, if you are a Member of the Society and a current UK tax payer, you can increase the value of your donation by opting in to the Government Gift Aid Scheme.

You can also support the Society through EasyFundRaising. Sign up, go shopping with one of its participating retailers and EasyFundRaising will donate a small percentage to NIFHS. Find out more here.

UK Taxpayer Only: Boost your payment to the Society by 25p for every £1 at no cost to you. The Society can claim Gift Aid from the tax you pay this tax year providing you are a UK taxpayer.

Allow Gift Aid to be Collected?

I want to Gift Aid my subscription/donation now and any subscriptions/donations I make in the future or have made in the past four years to The North of Ireland Family History Society.

I am a UK taxpayer and understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year it is my responsibility to pay any difference.

Please notify the Society if you: (1) want to cancel this declaration, or (2) change your name or home address, or (3) no longer pay sufficient tax on your income and/or capital gains.

If you pay Income Tax at the higher or additional rate and want to receive the additional tax relief due to you, you must include all your Gift Aid donations on your Self-Assessment tax return or ask HM Revenue and Customs to adjust your tax code.
