Gift Aid

Increase your donation to the Society at no cost to you!

You will be invited to opt into the HMRC Gift Aid scheme during your online membership application or renewal.

We greatly appreciate you opting in as it provides funds for the Society and doesn’t cost you any extra.

The scheme allows you to boost donations or membership fees paid to the Society by 25p for every £1 paid.

Gift Aid is reclaimed by the Society from the tax you pay for the current year.

Only residents of the United Kingdom may opt in to the scheme and you must provide your UK address.
Your membership application or donation must be in the same name as your Gift Aid application.
Gift Aid declarations are retained by the Society for six years from the last date of payment to comply with HMRC requirements.

Please notify the Society if you:

wish to cancel this declaration or
change your name or home address or
no longer pay sufficient tax on your income and/or capital gains.
