The Islandmagee Witch Trials, a show by Vicky and Lee McFarland.
In the year 1711 eight women and one man were accused of bewitching a young girl on Islandmagee. The events preceding this trial were described at the time as ‘diabolical and clearly supernatural’ and led to the only mass witch trial ever to take place on the island of Ireland.
Join Vicky and Lee McFarland as they bring the story of those events to life in a fusion of storytelling, music and film.
