This book was originally published by Omagh Family History Society in 1998 and was transcribed by one of its members, William J. McGrew between 1985 and 1990.

It contains inscriptions from tombstones located in 15 church graveyards within the Omagh District from 1688–1900.

As many of the gravestones transcribed are now no longer legible it is the only remaining record source for family historians.
