Index to Graveyard Inscriptions Extracted from Journals
The North of Ireland Family History Society (NIFHS) holds over 50 journal series and many of these contain lists of graveyard inscriptions that the Society has indexed. See the Journals page to find which journals have been indexed. The indexed articles cover graveyard inscriptions from many places: all the counties of Northern Ireland, half the counties of the Republic of Ireland, and some from England, Australia, Canada, Jamaica and the United States of America. Time spent searching or browsing the index could well be worthwhile and, if you find an article of interest, it will be in the Irish Journal Room of the Society’s Research Centre; Members unable to visit the Research Centre may use the Look Up Service.
