JSTOR – a free online resource for NIFHS members
This class, presented by Mike McKeag, explained what you can find on JSTOR in North Irish Roots and the other titles in the Ireland Collection. The JSTOR access is provided free of charge to all paid up NIFHS branch and associate members. It covers what is there, how to find it and how to conduct searches on the site, concentrating on how JSTOR can help you research your family history and find out more about your ancestor’s lives.
In January 2021 JSTOR changed the method of access to their website for NIFHS members. Members no longer need to have personal JSTOR usernames and passwords. Instead, the NIFHS username and password notified annually to members is used to get to the new JSTOR Access web page which then leads to the NIFHS page in JSTOR.
