Famous Faces – are you connected?

NIFHS tree logo image with green leaves

Ever wondered if there’s a famous name hiding in your family tree?

The well known  people below have joined the Great North of Ireland Family Tree project. They have agreed to take a DNA test and to let NIFHS research their ancestors and add them to Wikitree.

You could be related to one of them! Search your autosomal DNA matches on FamilyTreeDNA and if one of them appears, you can click on the tree icon to the right of the match name to explore their family tree and try to identify your common ancestor.

They may also have taken a Y-DNA test or a mitochondrial test so look out for them in your match list.

We have more personalities to come!
